CHROMIUM-6 IN A NUTSHELL
Chromium-6 is a dangerous substance that, after exposure, can eventually lead to serious health damage. Contact with chromium-6 must therefore be prevented. Chromium-6 is known for its anti-rust properties: one of the reasons why it was previously widely used for industrial applications. It is therefore still widely present on doors and facades, among other things, and causes problems for people and the environment. We have to address that.
REPLACE OR OVERHAUL DOORS
When we replace or overhaul facades or doors for a renovation project, we always assume that chromium-6 is present on the parts to be dismantled. For this purpose, JAZO employees always wear protective clothing during disassembly. That is why at JAZO you can assume that no harmful chemical reactions will take place or hazardous substances will be released when removing chromium-6. After dismantling the parts, you as a client can choose to dispose of the parts yourself or have them disposed of by JAZO. JAZO ensures responsible disposal and processing and works together with a recognized recycling company. After processing, you as a client will receive a processing certificate for the recycled parts. And because we immediately replace the new parts, the safety of the technical room is guaranteed.
