FIRE RESISTANCE SPECIALIST
Technical spaces are essential to the proper functioning of buildings. Properly shielding these spaces so that the technology can do its job optimally is extremely important. And with our extensive expertise in fire protection, JAZO is happy to help you with this.
Of course, one should not imagine that due to - for example, a fire - a technical room is destroyed or that a fire breaks out in this room which then turns (part of) a building into ashes. It is therefore not surprising that high demands are placed on the shielding, access and ventilation of a technical area. Requirements that we at JAZO know what to do with.
For years we have been strong in developing, producing and assembling our own shielding, access and ventilation of technical rooms. Thus, we have a suitable door and/or ventilation grille for every situation which meets all prescribed requirements. Not for nothing that we have been the partner of all energy companies and contractors in the Netherlands for years.
We like to deliver solutions that make not only us, but also you, happy. That way, together we come up with the most ideal solution to suit the situation. Do you want a single or double door? No problem! Just like numerous other options that are possible.
Providing the most optimal safety and producing and delivering the best fire-resistant products; that is our goal. That is why we regularly subject our products to a fire test. This fire test is carried out at an accredited fire laboratory, such as; Efectis and/or Peutz. It provides us with new insights so that we can improve the process in the future, and when we offer the products you are also assured of the most optimal and safe solution.
With a classification of EW-90 the fire resistance of the door or ventilation grid meets the WBDBO requirement of the Dutch Building Decree. And that our products are truly fire resistant is evident. Our doors and ventilation grilles have been tested in accordance with the NEN-EN 1634-1 standard. The standard assigns three criteria which are explained below.
The following criteria are considered during testing:
E: It is examined whether flames pass through the door.
W: it looks at whether the door allows some degree of thermal radiation to pass through.
I: it looks at whether the door allows a certain temperature to pass through.
The above criteria are combined with a time indication.
Thus, E120 means that flames will only come through the door after 120 minutes, EW90 that flames as well as radiation will only come through the door after 90 minutes. And EI60 that a certain temperature will only come through the door after 60 minutes.
If that is not enough, JAZO as a company has also received the Certificate of constancy of performance, according to EN 16034. A certification we are proud of, but which also provides you with the necessary benefits:
Our products always meet the applicable fire protection requirements;
