The Differ (Dutch Institute for Fundamental Energy Research) institute on the campus of the Technical University in Eindhoven conducts research into fusion energy and solar fuels. For this sustainably (BREEAM Excellent) built project, JAZO supplied and installed various (fire-resistant) frames, doors and lattice facades on behalf of the FOM Foundation for main contractor Dura Vermeer Bouw Rosmalen.
Parts of the supplied aluminum grille facades run in front of the glazing. These grille parts have a milled hole pattern, allowing daylight to pass through. The transformer rooms are equipped with fire-resistant doors with surface-mounted grilles. The high doors have also been covered in collaboration with facade supplier Rollecate.
For this project, JAZO provided Lines-36, lattice facades, fire-resistant doors (wbdbo EW60 in accordance with NEN 6069) with lattice cladding and loose lattice parts type HS-27 for Dura Vermeer. A lot of attention has been paid to the technical implementation in combination with the aesthetic requirements of the architect. From the quotation stage to the installation on site, we worked very pleasantly with the Dura Vermeer implementation team.
