Explosion panels

In response to the growing demand for pressure relief solutions, we now present various solutions online. The explosion panels are often used in the food industry, petrochemical industry, at Defense and in high-voltage network companies. The explosion panel is also referred to as a 'plop hatch' and serves as a pressure relief in case of gas, dust, electric (short-circuit) or chemical explosions. JAZO explosion panels are exclusively used in walls/facades.

The panels are provided with a Compro-ERM module (Explosion Release Mechanism) which ensures the panel to open at a preset excess pressure on the inside of the panel. After an explosion the certified (breaking)modules must be checked in Compro-ERM and replaced if necessary. The panel closes after the explosion and will not fragment.

The panel should be free of obstacles both on the inside and on the outside. The panels will remain closed at high wind pressure and wind suction and are available in aluminum, steel and stainless steel. They can be supplied as a separate panel border or as part of a facade. The calculation for the required size and opening pressure is to be carried out or verified by a competent engineer.
